Winsor Mission Evangelical Church

A Little About LEAF Member: Winsor Mission Evangelical Church

Winsor Mission Evangelical ChurchWinsor Mission is a small friendly fellowship which meets regulalry together each week in the New Forest hamlet of Winsor. In fact the church has been a witness in the village for over a century having been established in 1881 when the Victorian Chapel was built.

The vision of the church is that it will be a place where all Christians have an opportunity to worship freely, to serve and use their gifts. They are a praying church too and meet together during the week to support and encourage one another in prayer and  friendship. In and through this they grow as a fellowship and help believers grow in the faith.

The fellowship at Winsor has a desire to be a Church where the gospel is preached and reaches out to the village around - serving in the local community.

They believe that childrens work is very important and therefore have a group called 'Winsor Wonder Kids', which caters for all aged children from pre-school up, and meets after their collective worship on a Sunday.

In addition to Sunday services (see below) they hold prayer meetings, house groups, and visits to local care homes. They have built a good relationship with the local schools and pre-school and also sit on the committee of Copythorne parish hall.

The Church is led by Elder and Managing Trustee: Andrew Aldridge
