LEAF Leader Lunch 23rd April 2015

Revd. Gordon Tuck of Testwood Baptist Church

The next in the continuing series of Leaders Lunches is planned for April 23rd this year at Ashley Baptist Church. LEAF, the Local Evangelical Alliance in the New Forest, has regular lunch dates to encourage church leaders to meet together. These are wonderful times of fellowship when leaders from all over the forest, from various backgrounds and traditions come together to share food, chat and prayer together. The next lunch is dedicated to exploring how we can encourage our young people and engage with families.

We are delighted that two local ministers, Revd. Gordon Tuck, Senior Pastor at Testwood Baptist Church and the Revd. Sandra Prudom, Christchurch Baptist Church's Minister for Community and Mission, will start our discussion's by sharing how God has led them in their respective churches to reach out to this group of people. When asked, how she engages with families and young people Sandra shared: Sandra Prudom of Christchurch Baptist Church "There are lots of creative ways we can engage families and children in our communities - for example running Messy Church or special events in partnership with our local businesses; plus getting involved in community events with no agenda other than to share the love of Christ."

It is important to book your place in advance so if you are a church leader of youth worker please can you diary this event and RSVP by Friday 17th April to:
