Press Release: National Speaker Dr. Jonathan Oloyede to Visit New Forest LEAF
Dr. Jonathan OloyedeNational speaker Dr. Jonathan Oloyede will be visiting the New Forest as part of the his Joining the Dots Tour. 

Dr. Oloyede is a dynamic speaker and born encourager and comes to Lyndhurst as part of the LEAF annual Autumn event. Dr. Oloyede is pastor at City Chapel London and a Newham Borough Dean; he is also a leader-trustee of the network of Churches called 'Transform Newham', a member of the UK Evangelical Alliance Council, a member of CTE group for Evangelisation, and was a Board Member of the Olympics 2012 charity: More than Gold.

Dr. Oloyede is the key catalyst behind the National Day of Prayer and Worship. His vision is to see the United Kingdom saturated with prayer. He initiated the Year for London and National Canopy of Prayer which was a five year long daily 24-hr prayer chain for the Nation. This prayer initiative has held and supported several stadium events including the prayer event at Wembley Stadium in 2012 where tens of thousands of people gathered in unity to pray and worship together.

As a regular radio and TV personality, he is well known as a leader, author and spokesperson within the Christian community. He is also a popular speaker at events and conferences both nationally and internationally including Spring Harvest, New Wine, Soul Survivor, and Festival of Life amongst others.

LEAF Co-ordinator Revd. Alison John said of the upcoming Joining the Dots Tour Lyndhurst event: "We hope that many will be able to join us to pray for the New Forest, and that church leaders will come and meet Jonathan over a meal at 6 pm." On a recent visit to encourage church leaders in the Eastleigh region Dr. Oloyede said of his forthcoming trip to Lyndhurst " the church is actually growing in this nation despite a fall in numbers in church attendance; so the message I will be bringing to Lyndhurst is one to arise and shine and for God's glory to shine across the whole of the New Forest."

The venue will be the Lyndhurst Community Centre, Main Car Park, High Street, Lyndhurst, SO43 7NY. The evening starts at 6 pm for a Leaders Tea with Dr. Oloyede and then continues from 7:30 pm with an celebration event.
